If you recieve a Break Application that you did not make what is the first thing you check ? Then the Second and third ?

What is the risk regarding unexpected break demands.
1. AWS/TPWS in cab equipement/panel

2. Emergency Train equipment or check if TM has applied brake

3. Check train complete with tail lamp
