Describe the 1944 Town and Country Planning Act
Ministry of town and country planning had been set up in 1943, and this act dealt with reconstruction of badly bombed or 'blighted' areas.

Describe the 1944 Education Act
Each area in Britain was to provide a varied and comprehensive education service. School leaving age was raised to 15 by 1947 and then after that to 16, education was to be divided into primary (5-10) and secondary (11-16) and tertiary to 16.
