What does it mean if the genetic code is non-overlapping?
When the base triplets do not share their bases.

What does it mean if the genetic code is degenerate?
When there are more possible combinations than amno acids so therefore an amino acid could be coded for by more than one base triplet.

When the same specific base triplets code for the same amino acids in all living things.

Triplets that tell the cell when to start and stop production of the protein. They're usualy found at the beginning and the end of a gene.
