What is Pace?
Police and criminal evidence act, main law giving the police powers to stop and search,arrest and detain suspects, also sets the rights the suspects have when the police use these powers.

What additional powers does section 60 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act give the police?
The police can randomly stop and search without any reasonable suspicion if they believe violence may take place in his or her area, it can only be authorised by a senior officer and only lasts 24 hours.
