German Land

Taken at T of V. About 13% of German land was given to its neighbours; including Alsace and Lorraine, Eupen and Malmedy, Danzig, West Prussia, and Posen. Germany also lost 50% of its iron and 15% of its coal reserves and 11 colonies in Africa.

The Munich Putsch Failed

Firstly, this was because Hitler did not have the support of local Bavarian leaders. Secondly the Nazis were too weak: they had only 2,000 rifles and they were outnumbered by Bavarian troops.
