What should you do if someone was choking?

Ask: “Are you choking?” Encourage coughing Give up to five back blows Give up to five abdominal thrusts Call 999/112

What should you do if someone is having chest pains?

Dial 999 or 112 for an ambulance Help the casualty to sit down If the casualty is responsive allow them to chew one aspirin Be prepared to resuscitate

What should you do if you find an unresponsive casualty?

DRABC – Primary Survey Open airway (tilt head back) Check for normal breathing If they’re breathing – put them in the recovery position & Call 999 If they’re not breathing - Call 999 and start CPR
