What is stem cell treatment/research?
It is the process in which doctors can prescribe stem cells to regenerate damaged cells or treat certain illnesses such as Alzheimers.

Why are some people against stem cell research?
Because it is morally conflicting. The most effective stem cells are made of embryo's that, some argue, deserve a life.
