What is intelligence?

- Capacity to understand world, think rationally and use resources effectively when faced with challenges

- Higher intelligence allows you to perform complex tasks well, lower intelligence means you will struggle ]
- Alfred Binet developed a test to distinguish between 'normal' and 'inferior' children, put in special schools to identify which needed more help
