• 28th June: assassination of Franz Ferdinand.

• Austria in discussions with Germany.

• 5th July: Blank Cheque.

• Austria prepared the ultimatum to Serbia.

• 23rd July: Austria sent the ultimatum to Serbia with a 48 hour response time.

• 25th July: Serbia accepted all terms but 1.

• Britain suggested an international conference but Germany declined.

• Germany privately told Austria…
