Conditioning theories:
Operant condtioning:-Manipulating behaviour to shape the correct response through the use of reinforcement
STIMULUS ----------> RESPONSE (Weak link- response less likely)
STIMULUS ----------> RESPONSE (Strong link- response more likely)
How to get performer to produce the desired behaviour:
1 method- trial and error (objective explained, learner allowed to experiment with different way of achieveing the objective)
OR
teacher shows a demostration of a mehtod- then children go and try this by themselves- more likely to lead to desired performance--- because of stronger link
