Media influence on voting behaviour

Traditional print media dominated by right-wing parties typically older consumers beginning to die out to pave way for more progressive online media dominated by left-wing views for younger people. Issues of fact vs fiction and bias.
Traditional media - print, radio, BBC and tv news.
Modern media - online, blogs, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, youtube and polls.
Broadcast media - Legal neutrality required in the UK balanced an important TV and radio is a main source of information for the public before GE's e.g tv debates.
Newspapers - No regulation of bias heavily right-wing close alignment with party presence of newspapers and reader.
Social media - Used by parties tp communicate with public e.g Twitter and youtube. it is open and unregulated an often difficult to differentiate between fact and fiction also…
