Line Spectrums
When elements are heated they emit coloured flames. Some elements emit distinctive flame colours:
For example:
- Lithium (Li) - produces a red flame
- Sodium (Na) - produces a yellow/orange flame
- Potassium (K) - produces a lilac flame
