Life after death - philosophical problems

Is the concept of life after death meaningful within itself?

Flew - The concept is contradictory. You cannot witness your own funeral. "Surviving death" is meaningless and contradictory.

Schlick - Conceivable that you could witness your own funeral

Flew - What one is witnessing is not "oneself" but your body, an empty shell.

Where is the continuity?
