Edward Jenner- A british counrty docotr who discovered the vaccination for Smallpox by using cowpox top infect children, including James Phipps, and monitoring them to see if they died. Jenner was opped by the royal society, the Church, the publicand Innoculators. Jenners vaccination did not become compulsary until an epidemic in 1871.
Louis Pasteur-A french micro-biologist, NOT A DOCTOR, who discoverted germs whilst investigating alchohol going bad. He published his 'Germ Theory' in 1861
Robert Koch- Develpoed the 'Germ Theory'; Made vaccinations for multiple diseases including Anthrax using Pasteur's theory.
Joseph Lister- Began antiseptic surgery by suggesting doctors spray their hands with carbolic acid spray before surgery.
