Balancing Equations

Equations show the reactants and products of a reaction.

You can write an equation as a word of symbol equation. To make equations balanced there must be the same number of each 'thing' on wither side of the arrow. 

Example:

Word equation:   Magnesium + Oxygen ------> Magnesium oxide
