God in one form

Most religions have belief in one God but there's great range of understanding about nature of God & way God is presented in different cultures & religions.

Judaism

• Jewish were first to accept idea that only one God
• name of God is so holy that it's never written in complete form & never spoken 
• God cannot be limited in any way, including his title
• For Jews God cannot be shown in any figurative form(paintings, statues..) as it would limit

Islam

• For Muslims, the oneness of God is essential in their religion
• statement of faith; "there is no God but Allah"
• Muhammad taught there cannot be any division of God into separate/competing beings
• Wrong to try portray God in any way(pictures, statues, drama...) as he is so different, any attempt…
