German AS Dative case

Dative case 

this is used for the indirect object of a sentence for example

ich lese das Buch zu meinen schwester.

in this case the sister is the indirect object of the sentence

for the the changes go as follows

• der- dem
• die-der
• das-dem
• pural den

for 'a'

• ein=einem
• eine-einer
• ein-einem
• pural einen

as you can see the dative case has quite a few changes to it so you must learn them and get used to using them
