Malaria is biologically tramsitted by female mosquitos, if the mosquito bites the victim and the insect is carrying Plasmodium then the victim has caught malaria.

Malaria occurs in more tropical areas such as Sub - Saharan Africa. In 2015 there were more than 200 million cases of malaria worldwide and 90% of these were in Africa.
