Fusion in Stars
For Fusion in Stars to occur two Hydrogen Nuclei need to be brought close enough together so that the strong force is more powerful than the repulsive force.
During Fusion energy is released when lighter nuclei fuse to make a heavier nuclei eg. Hydrogen nulei fuse to make a Helium nuclues. This can happen until they reach the Iron element (Fe). This is why white dwarfs have very dense Iron cores.
