Themes
Totalitarianism- A form of government wish the state seeks to control every facet of life, from economics and politics to the each individual's ideas and beliefs. Orwell relates the use of totalitarianism with the Russian revolution as the the soviet union had the same aspect which had inspired Napoleon to do the same to keep the power within their hand on what ever means necessary.
Revolution & Corruption- Like all Revolutions the idea at the start is to believe and hope for a better future. But as Napoleons power grew he took more and more until his power was absolute so this makes him a dictator such as Stalin. Animal Farm portrays that process.
