Egyptian Medicine
Egypt made progress in medicine because Egypt was wealthy, they had trade and transport via the nile.
Egypt's wealth meant that they had specialist doctors who looked after the pharoah, they could afford tools and bronze instruments for the doctors.
Egypt's trade meant that they got herbs from India, China and the rest of Africa and built up a knowledge of herbal medicines.
Papyrus was made from reeds and was a kind of paper so remedies could be written down and passed on to other healers.
