Causative Agent: Fungus (Trichophyton species or tinea group)
Transmission:
Fungal spores are transmitted via infected shoes and socks and by sharing towels.
*When walking barefoot on infected tiles and mats in the floor of changing rooms and
showers.
*Through swimming pool and ponds if people are not conscious ad don't chlorinate water.
