Cases are borught into the County Court. - 3 Tracks:
- Small Claims - upto £5000 (heard by a district judge)
- Fast track - between £5000 and £25,000 (heard by District or Circuit Judge)
- Multi-track - between £25,000 to £50,000 (heard by circuit judge)
Appeals from the County Court then go to the High Court
High Court (3 Divisions)
- Chancery division - Cases on Wills, Probates and Bankruptcy
- Family Division - Usuall cases on Divorce
- Queens Bench Divisional Court - Cases on Judicial Reveiw and Contract/Negiligence
Any further appeals must havce some form of Permission from the Corut of Appeal.
Further Appeals can go to the Court of Appeal Civil Division which acts as an Appeal Court only or toe the Supreme Court…
