Charles I

Why he was executed

He ordered the Scottish to attack London. He did this as he thought that parliament were gaining to much power.The Scottish did as ordered but got thrashed and then Charles was arrested and accused of treason. Parliament no longer trusted him and he was known as a murderer, traitor and a public enemy.

Charles 

He got off to a bad start with the English population by marrying a catholic when England was a protestant country. The parliament then went against him as most of them were puritans. Then he tried to force the Scottish into using English orayer books but they didnt as his forces lost but the Scottish wanted compensation but Charles as broke so had to beg to parliament for some. Charles was broke so he enforced ship money even though they werent…
