Hospitals: What changed was people went to hospital with wounds, fevers and skin conditions. Whereas before, travellors, pilgrims, elderly went for food and shelter. In 1536 Henry VIII, disbanded certain religious inslitutions, such as monasteries and convents. most of the hospitals were connected, which left a few open. Nuns and monks administered the medical care. It took a long time for the hositals to return.…
