Topic 1: Data & Quality of Data

Data can be:

• Numbers
• Words
• Images
• Sound
• Video

 Definition of Data:

·        Data consists or raw facts and figures (e.g. readings from sensors, survey facts etc…).

·  These raw facts and figures are meaningless because they lack relevance or context.

·  If you look at data, it is either no use to you or not in a form that you use.
