Recurring Decimals

This is how to turn recurring decimals to fractions: 

Turn 0.4r into a fraction (r = reccuring)

Make 0.4r = x, then times it by 10

10x = 4.4r

Then take 10x away from x to make 9x=4 which is 4/9

To do a recurring decimal with a normal number first, do this:

Turn 0.631313131(r) into a fraction

First, times it by 1000. so 1000x=631.313131(r)

then times x by 10 and take it away. so 1000x-10x = 631.3131 - 6.31313131= 

625 = 990x = 625
