Assuming you are eligible outline the selection of a jury member:
Stage 1-- electoral register
Random selection
Cross selection of society
Jury summons from the central all summary bureau - this will tell you dates and
location (local area)
Applications for deferral and excusal are made at this stage
Stage 2-- having arrived at court you are released into a pool of jurors
Using a lottery system 12 would be randomly selected for a particularly court room
Jury is them vetted by prosecution and defence on bias of 'real danger of bias'
