Promotion

  • Advertising: describe or draw attention to (a product, service, or event) in a public medium in order to promote sales or attendance
  • Public relations: the professional maintenance of a favourable public image by a company or other organisation or a famous person
  • Sponsorship: a person or business that supports a cause/charity to aid raising awareness
  • Direct mailing: a form of communicating an offer, where organisations communicate directly to a pre-selected customer and supply a method for a direct response
  • Special offers/discounts: a marketing term that refers to a unique opportunity for customers to save money or receive a special benefit, product, or service. Often used to grab customers’ attention and increase sales.
