Responsibilities of a Project Manager
1.Is responsible and accountable for successful delivery of the project outputs.
2. Directs and motivates the project team.
3.Manages relationships with stakeholders (especially the Sponsor).
4. Produces and takes ownership of the project management plan.
5. Ensures that an appropriate risk management process is applied and that risks are identified and managed.
6. Is responsible for controlling change and maintaining appropriate configuration records.
7. Implements an appropriate quality management system to ensure that the project outputs meet the key stakeholder’s requirements.
8. Establishes appropriate monitoring, control, and communication systems.
9.Raises issues and promotes resolution.
10. Participates in the post implementation review, recording lessons learned.
