Ratio

This is the type of ratio im going to teach you.

We need to share out £21 between Chris and Mike

                                                        £21

                                                  Chris and Mike

                                                  3        :      4

Chris has £3 and mike has £4 (Just for example) But really we need share out £21 Between them. Now, first you want to add 3 and 4

                                                      3+4= 7

Now you've done that. You want to divide the 7 with the £21

21÷7= 3

Now you have divided the £21 with 7, you need to take Chris and Mikes ratio which is 3:4 and times it with the 3 for e.g

Chris - 3x3= 9

Mike - 4x3= 12

9 and 12 should add up to 21, but you can check if you want to! :)
