- the students are the future of society - lets give them the best chance
- Even if the students do not enjoy English literature and language, it still teaches key skills that they will need for life
- There is the hope for inspiring someone to do great things with their life
- Allow the student to understand the value of the skills taught
- In school I was not taught grammar after primary school - this is a position no school pupil should be left in
