- Insects: Ecosystems are home to insects that are vital to the pollination processes (would cost $0.5 trillon per year)

- People: Indigenous people are the original owners of the tropical rainforest (used for their home, religion, spirituality, economic use & social and moral organisation).
- Medicine: 25% of medicines come from rainforest plants in search for anti-cancer properties. Thousands of plants are being extinct before they can be tested due to deforestation.
- Fire, Timber & Fuel: Production of timber, fuelwood, charcoal, fibres, dyes and contruction materials.
