        • a new plan was made
        • the reparations were reduced from 6,600 million to 1,850
        • the time germany had to pay was increased to 59 years

    • Locarno Pact 1925
      • between germany, britain, france, italy and belgium
      • germany increased relations with french by agreeing to its new border
      • allies and germany agreed to permanent de-militarisation of the Rhur
      • german membership in the league of nations was up for discussion
      • it wasn't imposed on germany, like the TOV
      • increased status of weimar republic
    • League of nations -
      • international body that discussed world problems to prevent war
      • set up in 1920, but germany were kicked out
      • they were invited back in 1925
      • showed that germanys views counted
      • boosted confidence in Weimar republic for germans
    • Kellogg-Briand pact 1928 -
      • agreement between 62 nations
      • to avoid war to achieve foreign policy objectives
      • showed germany was a major power again
      • public confidence in how germany was being lead
    • Unsuccessful -
      • TOV was still in place
      • some didn't like new border with france
      • still extremist parties around
