- 1.Getting the stem of the infinitive
- 2.Adding ge to the start and t to the end

- However there are irregulars that do not follow this pattern
- Some have the ge and the infinitive
- eg. gefahren gelesen
- Some have the stem and t
- eg. busuchen to besucht
- And some are completely irregular
- eg. trinken to getrunken and nehmen to genommen

- You can put time phrases in the vocab section or the start of the sentence and then use inversion with the auxiliary verb
