- Math Formulas & Uses
- Speed= Distance/ Time
- This means that on any question where they ask you for speed you need to identify those items
- Therefore: Time= Distance/speed & distance = speed * time
- The unit for speed is m/s, distance is m and time is s.
- This means that on any question where they ask you for speed you need to identify those items
- The Cosine Rule
- USED IN TRIANGLES
- a2=b2+c2-2bccosA
- The Sine Rule
- Used when you have 2 angles and 1 side, or 2 sides and 1 angle
- USED IN TRIANGLES
- a/sinA=b/sinB
- The Quadratic Formula
- Needs to be in the form ax2+bx+c=0 to be applied
- If there is no ax2 then it is not a quadratic, it is linear.
- Speed= Distance/ Time
