- Engaging catchy title.
- Introduction engaging the reader and getting them to read on.
- Clear points about the topic with facts and including what you need to in the article.
- Conclude with a paragraph putting all the points together.
- Use subheadings and quotes from professionals (don't have to be real)
- Leaflets
- Heading/Title: Slightly informal to catch the readers attention.
- Subheadings for each topic/ include a list in one of the paragraphs. 3-4 middle paragraphs
- End with a conclusion going over the things and see what purpose and audience are.
- Use different writing techniques and use some informal language.
- Letters
- Sender address, receiver address, date
- Start with small explanation to why you are writing the letter.
- 3 paragraphs of main bit of letter. Formal language and reasons given depending on topic.
- End with "Yours sincerely" if you have put person's name, or "Yours faithfully" if you have put "Dear Sir/Madam"
- Use only formal language, no slang or casual language.
- Reports
- Clear title giving basic information of the report (who, what)
- Short introduction backing up the title and giving the reason why you are writing the report.
- Separate subheadings for each paragraph. 3-4 paragraphs.
- Conclusion which sums basics of each paragraph and what should happen next.
- Formal, respectful and polite. No rude language or slang, and be polite.

- Title: "Movie Title" Review
- Basic introduction of what the movie is about
- Paragraph describing the plot of the movie and what happens throughout.
- Analysis of the film like good and bad things and what could be improved.
- Conclusion overall with a star rating.
- Speeches
- Very convincing opening to attract audience with rhetorical questions and key points.
- Argue your point giving arguments and then putting them down.
- A positive, motivational conclusion which gives the reader something to think about after reading the text.
- Lot's of techniques and motivational language.
