- Complex Ions
- Complex Ion- A metal ion surrounded by ligands
- Ligand- A molecule or ion with a lone pair of electrons which will form a coordinate bond with the metal ion
- Electron pair donor
- Coordinate Bond- One atom donates and shares an electron pair with another
- Coordination Number- The number of coordinate bonds formed between the ligands and the central metal ion
