    • SHAHADAH
      • declaration of Faith
        • confirming that you are now a practising Muslim
    • SALAT
      • PRAYER
        • QURAN - this is the holy book in Islam. this is seen by Muslims as the word of God (Allah)
        • SALAH - this is the prayer which Muslims must pray 5 times a day and on Friday the afternoon prayer is done in the mosque and is led by the Imam.
    • ZAKKAT
      • This is the giving of charity to those who are need.
        • In Islam, you are made to give a percentage of your wealth to charity
          • All Muslims no matter what sector they are from are required to give 2.5% of their wealth to charity. you may give extra on top of that however that is optional.
    • SAWM
      • FASTING
        • This is the period of time when all Muslims around the world Fast for 30 days.
          • This happens during the month of Ramadan
    • HAJJ
      • THE HOLY PILGRIMAGE
        • This is when Muslims from all over the world come together in Mecca to perform the Hajj.
